As workin in the IT field, I have to face many computer problems from time to time. At the past I came across many useful tools to help me fixing these problems. I try to list them here to have a place to organize them for myself, as well as to share with others.

• Nero Lite / Micro
  Trim down version of Nero Burning ROM, even has silent install switches. More information.
• Batch Rename .EXE 1.0.41 [Freeware]
  Allow you to batch rename files with many different options, very useful!
• Unlocker 1.8.2 [Freeware]
  Solve file / folder: "It is being used by another person or program." error

• ERUNT and NTREGOPT for NT/2000/2003/XP (NT registry complete backup / restore) [Freeware]
  - ERUNT: The Emergency Recovery Utility NT
  - NTREGOPT: NT Registry Optimizer
  Can run directly without need to install the program. (e.g. Run on a USB Key) The program also has command line interface to allow administrator to schedule backup the registry automatically.
• WinInstall LE [Freeware]
  This is the freeware version of WinInstall LE 2003 8.0, the WinInstall LE 2003 8.6 version from ondemandsoftware.com is need to purchase now!
